Our curriculum is in-line with community needs.
We have worked hard to design a curriculum that addresses the needs of Armenia's youth. Pre and post tests, administered in the communities we visit, show us what communities around Armenia want and need. From these results, we're able to better design a meaningful curriculum. Below, are some the topics we teach and have taught in the past.
Environmental Education and Awareness
Conceptual Impact
Participants from rural and urban communities will be able to identify natural resources, discuss environmental issues within their communities, and understand the human impact on our planet, through different interactive teaching styles and activities.
|
Practical Impact
Participants will have a better understanding of their surroundings and be more active in protecting and taking care of their environment, by taking part in small projects during the lessons. Through these hand-on activities, participants will be able to better understand the natural world around them through first hands experiences and hopefully come to value nature more through these connections.

Physical and Mental Health
Impact
Participants of rural and urban communities took part in interactive activities, led by both Armenian and Peace Corp Volunteer walkers, that focused on their physical, emotion/mental, and social health, which allowed for participants to be inspired to questions their unhealthy lifestyles. Through B2B teaching, participants learned how taking care of their minds and bodies, they could become more productive members of their social groups and better contribute to building healthy communities.
